I have long, naturally curly hair. Recently I was on an overnight business trip. I washed and styled my hair the day I left, and

brought my Qwikbuns with me so that the next day I could get up - roll up - and be off to my meeting. Thus, cutting my "getting

ready" time in half. I also thought what a GREAT way to travel back home - my hair up and out of my face. I had an hour and a

half flight and a three hour drive ahead of me before I would be home. The thought of having no hair to mess with was very

appealing. My Qwikbuns saved me a lot of grief. You see, I was heading

home after my meeting and my flight was cancelled.

The airline would not return my luggage to me - and I had to stay another night in a nearby hotel with NO LUGGAGE - andnothing to comb, brush, or style my hair with the next morning.

I slept in my Qwikbuns and awoke the next morning needing to do absolutely nothing to my hair!!! It was GREAT! I cannot

even imagine what I would have looked like on my travels home had it not been for Qwikbuns!!

The first time I bought these wonders was at the LA county fair grounds many,

many, MANY years ago!  I still have 3 of the orginal 6 that I bought back in the

early 80's. They have been through 3 marriages, two kids, two cats who

thought they were toys and two frisky dogs who also managed to wisk them off

my vanity. They only reason to have three is because I gave two away to

friends and the other wore out (black, naturally).  I LOVE THEM! Here it is 2008

and I am so very glad to have found your site!  I have had long hair, short hair

and pregnancy hair (you gals who have kids know what I'm talking about!!) and

I saw the qwikbuns at the Tulsa State

Fair last year. And didn't believe it was

that easy. I'm very skeptical about stuff

that claim to be that easy. So this year,

my husband and I passed by the booth

again, and I tried it. I have very thick

hair and it's a pain to do anything with,

and I keep it long. I don't like short.

wear my Qwikbun to school every day.

They are comfortable, and pretty. Just

make sure that you don't twist and

untwist them to much. I need to buy

new ones because mine is all broken

and ruined.  I still love it, though. I wear

it up on top of my head with my tiara

tucked under it to school, even though

my classmates laugh about the tiara. I

love the curls i get from wearing it up

comments = I have extremely thick, shaggy layered

mid-back length hair.  I've used the hairigamis in

the past, but the weight of my hair causes them to

attempt to roll up before I'm done rolling.  I saw

these at the Oklahoma State Fair and I'd intended

to kind of heckle the girl at the booth (because I

break those "chip clips" and recently busted those

hair bungee magic comb thingies), but I was VERY

surprised that it actually worked.  I have to use 2

due to thickness and layering, but it worked and it

looked beautiful!  The look is easy to duplicate at

home as well.

comments = I purchased 2 of them (one in black and one in red) at a California State Fair in Sacramento a few years ago and I'm still using them today. I'm a sophmore in highschool, turning 16 in less than a week, and I don't always have the time to do my hair in the morning for school; the qwik bun takes momments to put on (even with my layered hair) and is very versitile. The qwikbun makes it easy to make your hair sporty, cute, chic,or sophisticated. I'm buying more this summer to replace my black one that got chewed up by my friend's dog.
